Zion-Benton Township High School District 126

District Announcement

On behalf of the Superintendent:

Good Afternoon,

District 126 is closely monitoring the potential for inclement weather from overnight into tomorrow morning. We are planning for a normal school day tomorrow, Thursday, February 6, 2025. However, we are requesting that all staff and students bring their devices and all necessary learning materials home with them today. This is strictly a precautionary measure.

If an e-learning day is necessary, we will send an email and voicemail communicating that information by 5:30 A.M. tomorrow morning.  If you are interested in reviewing the District’s E-Learning Day Plan in advance, it can be found on the website under the Academics tab. If you do not receive further communication messages from the District, you can expect a normal day of school tomorrow, Thursday, February 6, 2025.

We appreciate your cooperation and understanding as we continue to monitor the forecast through the evening and overnight hours.  Again, we are planning for a normal day of school tomorrow, but decisions will be made to prioritize the safety and well-being of students and staff based on anticipated weather conditions.

Sincerely,

Dr. Jesse J. Rodriguez

Superintendent
